Heres a list of foods that I’ve put together to help blood sugar levels and also benefit the human body.

#1 Onion and garlic

Onions and garlic are great foods to add to your shopping list. There are so many benefits to the body, Including;

  • High cholesterol
  • Diabetes And blood sugar
  • Boost Immune systems
  • Increase absorbtion of iron and zinc
  • Decreases the chances of getting cold and flu

Onions also being a good source of vitamin C, Vitamin B6, Biotin, Chromium, Calcium and dietary fibre. It’s also a great help for the liver.

#2 Leafy Greens

Full of micronutrients like vitamins and minerals. Great food with no effect on blood sugar.

#3 Fatty seeds.

Full of Healthy fats such as Flaxseeds, pumpkin seed, sunflower seeds etc.  Seeds are healthy and are very high in fat and protein and have either no carbohydrates or low amount. These seeds have no Glycaemic load (there will be more articles to come on glycaemic load and glycaemic index).

#4 Avocado

Full of healthy vitamins and minerals and has a great amount of healthy fatty acids including Omega 3 and 6. It’s also full ofVitamin A, C, E, K, B6, Folate and its also anti-inflammatory.

#5 Coconut

Has high amounts of fats and most of the carbs are dietary fibre and it has basically no glycaemic load at all.

Tip: Try using coconut oil instead of any other oils when cooking.

#6 Nuts

Walnuts, hazelnuts, cashews or almonds are high in healthy fats and proteins as well barely any carbohydrate and is very anti-imflammatory.

#7 Herbs

Have basically no macronutrients but instead have a lot of vitamins and minerals so they have no effect on blood sugar levels but gives great taste too food.

#8 Eggs

A great source of the very essential Vitamin B12 and a good amount protein and fat. No effect on the blood sugar and a great way to start the day and they’re easy to cook and cheap as well. Be careful not to eat too much since eggs are a dairy product, which makes our body acids.

#9 Butter and Cheese

You have to use some diary products and that’s ok as long as its not more than the alkaline food and not too often.

#10 Oils

Oils are 100% fat and you got to be very delicate and careful with what you choose. I always make sure it’s organic high quality and nothing bogus because using normal conventional sunflower oil or pal oil and all other mixes is a massive no no!

Thats 10 foods that will help the good sugar levels and also benefit the body. There are many more foods that will help the human body but here is my 10.
